Original diskette files: All diskettes were mounted on a 5 1/4" drive of a
Windows 98 PC and the diskette files were copied to the PC hard drive. To preserve
the original file content, all files were transferred to a UNIX server in binary
format and retain their original time and date stamps.
Processed documentation file: The original DOS WordPerfect documentation file
contains hard returns and would not format correctly when converted in Microsoft
Word. The original file was converted to ASCII text with Microsoft Word and reformatted
with Unix "vi". This "fixed" file was saved with a .TXT file extension.
Processed data files:
The Lotus 123 spreadsheets contain macros that call other Lotus files and cannot
be translated or used with other spreadsheet software.
