Original diskette files: All diskettes were mounted on a 5 1/4" drive of
a Windows 98 PC and the diskette files were copied to the PC hard drive. To
preserve the original file content, all files were transferred to a UNIX server
in binary format and retain their original time and date stamps.
DOS Compressed files: The DOS compressed self extracting files were
executed on a Windows PC. All of the DOS decompressed files were transferred
to a UNIX server in binary format and retain their original time and datae
stamps.
Processed documentation file:
The DOS WordPerfect User's Guide was converted in Microsoft Word
and printed to portable document format (PDF) with Adobe Acrobat.
PDF output was checked to ensure that the entire document was translated
and that formatting was preserved.
